Job Description:

A *College Floor In-Charge* oversees daily operations and manages student activities on a designated floor in a college building or dormitory. This role requires ensuring a conducive learning and living environment, enforcing college policies, and fostering a positive student experience.

#### Responsibilities
1. **Supervision and Monitoring**:
   - Oversee day-to-day operations on the assigned floor, including classrooms, labs, and/or residential areas.
   - Conduct regular rounds to maintain discipline, ensure cleanliness, and uphold safety standards.
   - Monitor student conduct, resolve minor disputes, and address behavioral issues.

2. **Policy Enforcement**:
   - Enforce college rules and policies, including attendance, punctuality, and conduct codes.
   - Address and document policy violations, reporting to college administration when necessary.
   - Guide students on adhering to safety, security, and emergency procedures.

3. **Student Support and Guidance**:
   - Act as a point of contact for student inquiries, providing support and guidance on academic and personal matters.
   - Identify students in need of counseling or additional academic assistance and refer them to appropriate college resources.
   - Encourage student involvement in campus activities, workshops, and events.

4. **Coordination with Staff and Faculty**:
   - Collaborate with faculty and administrative staff to ensure smooth functioning of floor activities.
   - Assist in coordinating schedules, space allocation, and resources for lectures, lab sessions, or events.
   - Provide feedback on facilities or operational needs to management.

5. **Facility Management**:
   - Ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and proper maintenance of all common areas and facilities on the floor.
   - Report facility issues, including maintenance or repair needs, to the appropriate department.
   - Oversee safe and organized use of resources, including furniture, equipment, and supplies.

6. **Safety and Emergency Preparedness**:
   - Conduct safety drills and ensure students are familiar with emergency exits and procedures.
   - Act as a first responder during emergencies, coordinating evacuation or other necessary actions.

 Requirements
- **Educational Qualification**: Bachelor’s degree in any field (preferably in education, management, or related field).
- **Experience**: Prior experience in a supervisory or administrative role in an academic setting is an advantage.
- **Skills**:
  - Strong leadership and conflict-resolution skills.
  - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  - Organizational and time-management skills.
  - Ability to enforce rules while maintaining a positive environment.
